PRESS: Alan Committie in LIVE AND LET LAUGH

Alan Committie

A public service announcement by Alan Committie. He says you should get booking to see LIVE AND LET LAUGH at Theatre on the Bay this festive season.

‘Hello you ludicrously laughter-lusting lasses and lads (and everything in between)

I’m BACK! In this my TWENTY FIFTH solo stand up show, I take my inspiration from the 25 JAMES BOND movies that have been released over the last 60 years.

This brand new comedy show – LIVE AND LET LAUGH - was tested on some Jozi audiences earlier this year and this is what they had to say:

“After the stress or recent years, it's so good to have sore ribs again.

His latest show is an absolute must see.“

“It was definitely right up there with one of his best shows.

This show certainly has it all and is a great night out.“

“Awesome show! Full of laughs from beginning to end!

Absolutely loved it.“

“Excellent!

Non stop laughter.

Worth it!”

“Book now! You will not be sorry!

Alan Committie is highly professional,

extremely talented and hysterically funny.”

“Funny, witty, clever, with the gift of changing the perception of time, 90+minutes seem like 10 minutes. “

LIVE AND LET LAUGH includes a special appearance by intrepid international (read: large parts of Free-State and Upington) security guard Mr Johann Van Der Walt and his “Jaws”esque dentures….

You can also expect a flip-chart, attractive women (in the audience), action and suspense galore (will there be enough staff to deal with interval bar rush?) and a climactic ending (which may or may not involve a xylophone, two rabid porcupines and an inflatable Renaut Clio)…..

Bookings are now open and our first performance on the 13th of December is already SOLD OUT so get buying now at Computicket.

Can’t wait to spend the festive season with you.

See you at the theatre!

The names Committie. Alan Committie.

Double Ho Ho. Licence to laugh.'
