PRESS: Nik Rabinowitz is back at The Baxter

Nik Rabinowitz’ latest stand-up comedy show, Rambunctious, at The Baxter, for five performances only, this January and February.

After a sensational, sold-out Joburg run, Nik Rabinowitz brings his latest standup comedy show, Rambunctious, to The Pam Golding Theatre at The Baxter, with five performances only, from 30 January to 3 February 2023 at 8pm.

The beloved Cape Town comedian has made it to 2024! Miraculously. Having survived a pandemic and, who know what else, he makes an electrifying return to the stage with one concrete New Year’s resolution - to share his unadulterated thoughts and feelings on absolutely none of it.

In his latest show, aptly titled, Rambunctious, the self-proclaimed goat-whisperer takes the audience on a wild ride through some of his favourite escapades in 2023, which includes throuples therapy with his mother (and Schalk Bezuidenhout) and going through customs more times than a biltong mule.

“Brace yourselves, Cape Town,” says Rabinowitz. “As a middle-aged owner of three children, two surfboards and a skateboard, all I can say is that the new year is here and, in the words of many a freshly deployed cadre, ‘We might as well take it and make it ours!’”

So why not kick off the year with a bang by escaping the Eskom-sponsored darkness of your home and indulging in a night of uproarious laughter? Unless you would prefer to spend the evening scrolling through all of your social media apps, comparing your life to others and being outraged about events beyond your control, which can also be a fun way to spend 80 minutes).

Booking is through Webtickets online or at Pick n Pay stores. There is an age restriction of 14 years.
