KISMET is Taare’s Bollywood Dance adaptation of William Shakespeare's masterpiece: Romeo and Juliet. Produced with support from Artscape, this creative production is Taare’s 11th to date and promises to be a moving experience resonating with both traditional values and contemporary audiences.

Taare is a Cape Town-based Bollywood dance troupe known for original productions that fuse cultural storytelling with vibrant choreography. Now in its 13th year, Taare has captivated audiences with works such as Bollywood Enchanted, The Taare Express, Anjali in Wonderland, The Bollywood Bazaar, and more. KISMET promises to be the dance troupe’s biggest and most extravagant production yet!


KISMET runs for 19 & 20 July 2025 at the Artscape Opera House, Cape Town, with shows at 19:00 and 16:00, respectively. Tickets are available via Webtickets with prices ranging from R190 to R250. Please note: No children under the age of 5 are permitted.
