KISMET is Taare’s Bollywood Dance adaptation of William Shakespeare's masterpiece: Romeo and Juliet. Produced with support from Artscape, this creative production is Taare’s 11th to date and promises to be a moving experience resonating with both traditional values and contemporary audiences.
Taare dancers, accompanied by phenomenal guest artists, breathe new life into an epic tale through expressive storytelling, inspired choreography, and a carefully selected musical score, comprising many adored tracks from the Bollywood industry.

KISMET promises to be the dance troupe’s biggest and most extravagant production yet!
KISMET runs for 19 & 20 July 2025 at the Artscape Opera House, Cape Town, with shows at 19:00 and 16:00, respectively. Tickets are available via Webtickets with prices ranging from R190 to R250. Please note: No children under the age of 5 are permitted.
