Cape Ballet Africa presents GISELLE, one of ballet’s most beloved romantic masterpieces, at Maynardville Open-Air Festival for two shows only on 20 & 21 January 2026.

CBA’s GISELLE is Choreographed by internationally lauded choreographer Maina Gielgud with Set Design by acclaimed designer Michael Mitchell.  Set to a score by Adolphe Adam, both performances are to a recording by the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra.

 

Experience this magnificent classic ballet that shares a story of love, betrayal and forgiveness, under the starry skies at Maynardville Open-Air Festival.

The roles of Giselle and Albrecht will be performed by Mia Coomber and Gabriel Ravenscroft on 20 January and by Paige McElligott and Joshua Williams on 21 January.
