Being in English, it is also easy to understand the story-line, allowing you to fully engage with the characters' journeys and the unfolding drama. This production stands as a pinnacle of English Romantic Opera, showcasing the very best of Gilbert and Sullivan's collaborative genius.

It has been described by the BBC as “A fast-paced caper with forbidden romances, fantastical plots and unrequited love unfolds, with some surprising twists at the end”
