Gasps of awe and cries of wonder will fill Cape Town’s Artscape Theatre as the best children’s entertainers take to the stage for the world-renowned College of Magic’s Children’s Magic Spectacular on Saturday 9 May, 2015 at 11h00.


A captivating cast, led by international magician and comedy entertainer Matt “The Ginger Ninja” Gore, will transport the Mother City’s young and young at heart into a fantastical world filled with incredible illusions, dazzling magic, hilarious antics, audience participation and fun-filled fantasy for the whole family.


From levitating assistants and blink-and-you-miss-it disappearing magicians to gravity-defying juggling acts and more; the Children’s Magic Spectacular is a magical extravaganza like you've never seen before!

Matt Gore, a Silver Medallion graduate of the College of Magic, is the current FISM (World Championships of Magic) Africa Children’s Magic Champion and has wowed audiences all over the world for more than ten years with his colourful acts and witty humour. One of South Africa’s top children’s entertainers, this enthralling performer is sought after for his exciting routines and interactive brand of children’s magic.

2015 is a big year for the College of Magic, the only organisation of its kind in the world, as it celebrates 35 years of training adults and children in the theatrical performance art of magic and its allied arts.
